In the Scale of Things ...

Scale is intriguing. Scale is everywhere. Scale is our experience of the world, from our perception of time to physical distance to weights and measures. The human scale is 1:1, the point of reference. Everything is designed around it. Wealth is an example of scale, so is a sculpture, a building, a planet or a molecule. Scale is a universal and timeless subject. The Scale of Things brings together facts and figures in a visual way, embracing popular science, space, economics, politics, geography, nature, technology and architecture in an accessible and entertaining way. Fun and informative, it will change the way you look at the world around you.

I have a new scale, this one . It gathers info from my stepping on it, and waiting. This info:

Caution is advised. Numbers that change slowly over time wiggle in much shorter time frames. These are no different.

Anyhoo, here's the use case. Launch the app on your phone, making sure you've already paired the phone with the scale, and that Bluetooth is on. Stand on the scale, wait until all the pretty red digits stop moving, and your phone will beep. Shazaam, here's a screenshot ...

I transcribe the numbers into Excel.

It worked the 5 times I've tried it. The new scale and old scale are close in weight measurement. The new scale is approximately close to the InBody scan I had done. So, my instrumentation is dialed in, for now.

Back to my things to do list: fast, meet or exceed that protein macro measure, stay under my calorie target, eat lo carb, and exercise every 2-3 days. Oh, and do it for the next several months or quarters at least. No biggie.
